Hello and
Welcome to Faerie Hollow,
My desire
has been to create a line of unique jewelry that is both delicate and
elegant, while maintaining a feeling that is ultimately feminine; each piece
is a compilation of fine gemstones and crystals.
Over the
last 40+ years, my work has matured into a more sophisticated and feminine
style. Favorites among the gemstones that I enjoy using are precious and
semi-precious: Amethyst, Peridot, Aquamarine, Citrine, Sapphire, Topaz,
Ruby, Emerald, African Opal, Pearls, Turquoise, Labradorite, Amber, and
Moonstones. I believe a beautiful necklace or bracelet deserves an equally
beautiful clasp as a “finishing touch”. All clasps are either sterling
silver, or Vermeil (gold over sterling silver); some are set with matching
gemstones.
I delight
in finding precious stones, beautifully cut and faceted to incorporate into
a new design. Swarovski crystals are an integral component of each piece
that I design; I use it as a signature but it’s really to please the
Faeries.
My designs
are one of a kind, occasionally I will make a similar piece, varying the
design and using different gemstones. I also enjoy creating custom pieces as
well as commissioned designs such as the ones I did for a local Red Hat
Club’s catalogue.
Thank you
for your interest in my work.
Blessings,
Sharon |
